Some shrinkies I made

I made some shrikies, so I'll post them that this Journal isn't empty anymore!!! *g*

This one is a little bit messy, because it was a little bit to long in the oven...

Yes, the ripcage

Some are inspired through RITF and Kiki Kannibal...

Hope, you like them!

No problem... But be carefull, don't leave them to long in the oven with the embossing powder, then it become messy (you can see it in the Tiger Army one!!!)

did you use anything to keep the embossing powder in place such as embossing ink?
i have an embossing tool and im scared to use that and it will blow the powder all over the place, but im scared to use ink because i don't want it to rub off the image on the shrinky dink =/

No, i don't use embossing ink, but you can't melt the powder with a heatgun, cause it blows all the powder away. I use my oven and melt it in it. Never tried embossing ink on Shrinky Dinks...

You have to take a look in the oven all the time, when the embossing powder is on your stuff. When you put your embossing powder on your shrinky, you can't see the design, when you bake it, it becomes clearer and clearer. When it's totaly clear and you can see the whole design, you have to put it out of the oven. Try it for the first time on a peace of left over, so it don't ruin your stuff... IT's the best way, to find out, how it works...
Oh, and the tiger army one isn't blurry from the camera, the black paint "faded out" and the white isn't white anymore, it's a little bit brown now.
Hope that helps!!!
